Neo Liberalism Is Not Just a Set of Ideas
Neo liberalism is not just a set of ideas. It becomes a political order, by which i mean the ability to set the turrain on which political debate takes place. Part of a political order succeeding involves elaborating a vision of a good life. And what i have just described as the left winged version of the good life, cosmopolitanism, but neo liberalism also very compatible with a far more conservative vision of the goodlife. This emphasizes patriarchal families, a fathers as bread winners, mothers as home makers, with a good dose of religion thrownin.
