The Challenges of Open Source

Open source is hard, you know, sometimes I refer to it as crappy product led. It's got some of the characteristics of like a freemium or like a free tier, but without the relationship and data that you get from somebody who's actually signed up for a SaaS product and is using it. So we have almost no information on who is using our open source, unless they tell us, or if we break something and they open an issue. The thing for me personally has been delegating technical decisions, because I am an engineer and that is my background and I like it. And I'm decent at it.
