Mindfulness: A Two-Way Process
Patients can become self-directed learners. We do a time ruler experiment where it's almost like, imagine having a ruler in front of you. If you sit and relax and you let your thoughts wander, if you start going back in time to what happened two hours ago, you move your thumb slightly to the left. And by doing that, it can give people a nice little experience of how their thoughts move around but also teach them to center more. It should be a two-way process, shouldn't it? Yeah, definitely.
