The Importance of Body Minds in Mental Health
The title of the book is "Mad" and it's a book about mental health, but you don't shy away from talking about madness as like experiences that people are having or that you've had. I think this is mainly kind of to try to respond to the prevalence of mind, body dualism which suggests that our mental and physical worlds are very separate. And especially like throughout writing and engaging with kind of ideas that were critical of psychiatry, I found that a lot of the stuff I was reading did seem to take this kind of hard body mind split. It just felt really right to me.
