The Liberal Protective Model Isn't Curious About Trans Life
LZ Granderson: The liberal protective model it's not curious about trans life it wants to domesticate and control trans life in order to maintain the very set of systems and institutions that have excluded trans people. He says anyone who affirms just like broadly takes care of a trans kid is presumptive child abusers under texas law. LZ: If every single anti-trans politician were to lose their job or be canceled, we would be back at a deadly erasure right? We are already way past the idea that some people have to die in order to improve the lives of other people he says.
