Command and Control - What's the Difference?

I think there are analogies a with for management to a degree. How do you know when to intervene when things aren't going right? I mean, you're absolutely right. So the utopian world and would be everything's mission command, and you you know, nothing ever goes wrong. But things change. Situations change. You know, political direction changes. Something may happen a hundred miles away that has an indirect impact on what someone is doing on the ground. And so i'm quite a visual thinker. To me, that's the difference. Command is inspiring, mission, command orientated, allowing initiative. Control is when you have to get the long screw driver out.
