When you deny a part of yourself, say you deny anger or you deny depression, part of your soul is at odds with another part. I really do think that part of depression is rage turned inward. So my first recommendation would be to become aware of the physiology of your depression. For many people, it's that they even have a name, seasonal effective disorder.
