I was this brash hair on fire kid with a chip on his shoulder. I had Jay Booner take me under his wing. It wasn't always peaches and cream, but just learning from those three guys was great. And we didn't start playing against each other really till I came over the American League again. You know, I think the twins and the Mariners, we come and man, when we were rolling in the early 2000s, we're like, no, we're going to Minnesota. They play us tough.
