Deep Dive: There’s been a spate of horrific attacks on Australia’s gay and bi community, being fueled by social media.   

Men are lured by offenders using fake profiles on popular dating apps like Grindr before being beaten and extorted, and the footage uploaded online.  

Police say it’s happening around the world and in every Australian state, even with one holding a community forum in recent days to get the message out, and to prevent future attacks.
