The Secret of Joy Division - Terry Mason
Terry Mason was the childhood friend of Peter and Bernard from sulfur grammar school with Stephen Morris. The two guys started learning how to play so they could be in a punk band too. According to Bernard, Terry was the one who told Bernard and Peter about the sex pistols. And lo, the sex pistols begat Joy Division who begat Susie and the Banshees who begat Interpol.
