Is There Evidence to Support Voting Violence?
I think that our interpretation of American democracy is very strange as someone who studies autocracies, right? Most people literally could not vote when we were founded. Black people effectively could not vote until 1965. So I actually have no idea why we even code the US as a democracy before 1965. But somehow it's really hard to not interpret what happened with Trump and his behavior once he lost the election as some sort of weakening of democracy.
