In Moscow's Shadows

CHAPTER

Russia and Central Asia - What's Going on in Central Asia?

We are seeing that actually Chinese influence in Central Asia continues to become more significant than the Russian. It was striking also Russian Prime Minister Ms. Shustin was recently there, and clearly he's trying to not just see what deals he can make,. But on the other hand stepping up in a variety of roles that often wouldn't really be the prime ministers and would more likely been the presidents. So again, here we have this business of everyone is just simply out for themselves. Everyone is doing what they can for their own interests.
