She had been near the top of her class when she was a student. Though she did only a couple of years work as a teller at a local bank before she married richard. They met through their parents mutual and knew each other for nearly a year prior to marriage. The issue of him being the youngest in a family of six boys and five girls came up only once, but her parents, particularly her mother, brushed it aside as unimportant.
