Is It Worth a 20 to 30 Thousand Dollar Bumping Salary?
Being an engineer is worth about a 20 to 30 thousand dollar bumping salary, at least in the us. What really got me personally to move from being a developer to an engineer is just having a nap that lives a long time. A lot of side projects are you build it and it's amazing, and then you stop working on it. "If you can force yourself to keep making changes, keep poking at it over a year or two years, or three years, you're going to automatically think more like an engineer," he says.
