Introduction

Heraclitus of ephesus is, you might say, the ultimate presocratic. He brings together many features we associate with greek philosophy before socrates, plato and aristotle came along. Heraclitus body of work is not unlike that of a comedian from the 19 fifties. It consists mostly of one liners.
