The first chechen war was fought in the early 1800s. Chechnya is a small region of north caucasus, and has an incredibly old history. The conflict ended up being won by russia after years of fighting. Godye: I personally believe my research ability has gottn much better when it comes to researching things that are not very well known in the west. And this one is interesting. It's weird.
