Alan Jacobs on Sin and the Politics of Sin

Dr. Alan Jacobs has written for many magazines, including The Weekly Standard and one of my favorites, Books and Culture. In the 1950s, there was a set of congressional hearings in the state of baseball. Mickey Mantle came up and said his views are pretty much the same as Casey Stengel's. A few years ago I wrote a book called A Theology of Reading about how to read charitably. How can you read books in a spirit of Christian love?
