How to Use Multiple References in Summarization Tasks
In machine translation, using multiple references is sort of standard. For summarization task, for instance, it may not be that standard or for a not, not that common, like for instance, text simplification task. Rouge looks at recall and blue is like precision,. But I would argue that blue is also looking at recall because of this brevity penalty in the reference.
