Is There a Feel in Games?

There's all this feel in games, and I think it's pronounced by our aspect of the culture. So many times we think of some elaborate idea but the response to it is it just didn't feel right. It applies to dialogue, sound, design, all that stuff which I'm always enjoyed. You're constantly stepping back and looking at the whole thing with games as much an act of exploration as it is deciding things.
