What's the Difference Between a Calling and a Metaphysical Text?
I think the size of the text is an obvious reason. The language was another one that, once again, before i had met amina, i was sending it around to quite a few different native arabic speakers,. And just the density of the mediaeval metaphysical language is challenging for even native arabi speakers. So if you're a weird kid like me who's interested in all this strange stuff, and slike, oh, i want to translate more of this text, you come up against these academic barriers. I get this sense that there have been people who have perhaps wanted to do the translation, and then, in the process of undertaking it, have felt a kind of responsibility
