Are You Doing 90 Minute Session?

If you have a session that's longer than 53 minutes and you're going to use 90837 you want to justify that as part of your assessment in your note. You might say something like 90837 is medically necessary to address complicated or severity of diagnosis and clinical presentation. If you are doing something if you're meeting with a client twice a week it's not that you can't but you have to be aware that it may increase your likelihood of an audit.
