The Ethics of Violence

The film ends with a sequence much like the one it starts with. There's a series of protests in which people deflate the tires using sometimes knives, using sometimes just like unscrewing the air cap. It ends with a substantial escalation of that tactic to let's just say another mode of luxury transport. What kind of responsibilities do you think you hold for that kind of invocation? Of violence for that sort of normalization of violence as a tactic on the left?What are the stakes of that? Yeah, this was obviously a huge question. A thing that we were thinking about for the entire process of the movie. And I think is very much the heart of what is the important ethical
