The device is programmed with either illegal software that was pirated. It's pretty hard to retroactively as a car manufacturer go back and fix all that. So it's kind of a going forward thing that they've mostly fixed, hopefully. But I mean, there's a lot of videos out there of people doing similar stuff to this. They're stealing very expensive cars and you know, chop them up for bits or shipping them overseas somewhere where people don't ask as many questions about how you're selling a hundred thousand dollar car for twenty thousand dollars.
