The Blessing of Boundaries
The Old Testament makes really clear that folks' faithfulness to God is proven by testing. In ancient time, rabbis understood the word for tempt or test can also be the same word in Hebrew for exalt. And they use the story of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for that. There are enormous blessings in boundaries when we surrender to them, even though we may not understand them.
