Is There a Need to Quickly Fill the Gap?

You shouldn't really feel this need if you leave the status quo to immediately have some sort of new value system that it's fine to be in some elusive space. And that's probably what's holding a lot of people back is they just fall from camp to camp in sort of a ongoing mimesis or something like that. You're absolutely right that we are under a lot of pressure to do exactly that. But ideally, yeah, I'd say that withdrawal is a kind of like prolonged interruption. It is a suspension. In that sense, there is no need to immediately fill the gap.
