I think there is a way of taking seriously kind of critically engaging within and really coming to grips with what happened, what went wrong. It's easy to dismiss Eastern Europe and so the Union for falling under the spell of state capitalism,. But if you're standing in a place like Mozambique in the 1970s, or Angola, it almost doesn't matter. That's the history we have to contend with.
