The History of Tibet

After the fall of the Yuan dynasty in Beijing, Tibet is left relatively independent. Buddhism kind of splinters a little bit during this time period and that lasts through about the 18th century. The Portuguese are among the first that have early four rays into what we would now call Tibet. England also start to trickle in in the 18th and 19th century given Tibet's proximity to their other colonies.
