The Colusa Kingdom, a Very Powerful Kingdom in the Northwest of the Florida Peninsula.
The colusa were a very powerful kingdom, and it seems to have been run in more or less authoritarian manner. Their territory included various barrier islands and bays, the so called ten and islands regions south of that, and much of the everglade swamps. They had a capital at mound key in estero bay, north of those older towns that have been found at hors island and ki marco. And they reportedly also took part in elaborate contests of archery, running and dancing.
