It's because in a world that is externally facing, it gives you a chance to look at yourself and figure out what you actually want. The first thing that went through my head when he sent me this text is like, are you okay? Are you safe? And then afterwards, I started looking inward in a real way. What do other people think is good? How do I operate my reality to that?
