Is Science Studies Helping Anti Science?

There's no reason to think that as people get more educated, they are going to end up coming to some kind of consensus with what the elites in the past have already believed. I wonder if this is science studies self aggrandizing. If these scholars would rather live in a climate denying hell scape in which their ideas had some influence, even for ill, than a world in which they actually didn't have much influence at all. But i'm not sure if science studies y armed this anti-science thinking. The links are just too tenuous. It would be like blaming marks for stolenist gologs.
