Is the Expected Third Person the Pharisee?

I do also wish we had a clear picture of where Jesus is when he's telling this, because immediately before this in Luke 10, he sends out the 72. And then our story today just begins with on one occasion, like no, no chronological or geographical information at all. Like it just seems completely disconnected. So I don't know.
