Loch Ness in Scotland
Loch Ness is 23 miles long, but it's also very narrow. Much of it is just a mile wide, although at one point it gets up to 1.7 miles wide. Its surface area is only 21.8 miles because of how thin it is. It is the largest Loch in the British Isles by the amount of water it contains. The biggest city in the Highlands is Inverness, which is connected to Loch Ness.
