The Great Tornado
In our part of the country recently terrible tornadoes. And i could not help but think of a history quilt that has been bequeathed to my wife. One of the key patches is the one that depicts the cyclone of forty eight, the great tornado that came through their neighborhood. My father in law had already been in the bat the bulge. So much were troops needed for one of war warto's greatest battles That he was one of only eight from his unit who survived in proportion.
