Is There a Physics to the Geometry of a Social Network?
The geometry of a social network or a human hierarchy could also share some physical principles with like the river basin, right? That it's kind of optimizing for flow, but it also needs to have branches to distribute some of that flow from the main channel, etc. I'm wondering if there's a deeper physical principle behind this. In other words, I take a physicist view, none of these numbers,None of these things are arbitrary, has to be some principle or some dynamic that leads to it.
