Tress by Brandon Snicket

Tress is a tale of pirates, dangerous spores, and because Hoyt is involved, occasional self important monologues. It reminded me a little bit of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night with like the ocean. So I thought that was cool. The biggest comparison to me while the Princess Bride is Brandon's stated inspiration, I felt a lot of a limony Snicket in Brandon's writing. That series really launched the idea of an author can play around with the reader.
