This chapter examines master narratives surrounding systemic Islamophobia and nationalism in the U.S., revealing how they shape perceptions of American identity and immigration. It critiques both liberal and conservative perspectives for obscuring the historical violence and complexities of ethno-nationalism while emphasizing the need for a more accurate understanding of American history and its implications on societal policies.
