How Did You Think About Your Path When You Were Learning Java?

I thought that I was just following the path of my teachers or of the stuff that I Google out and I I Google out a lot about Java. That is very popular and it's very good. Then I heard many different opinions from my teachers that JavaScript is very welcoming, you know, if you want to be a full stack engineer. So this is how I thought about my path. And yeah, I think it was because I know a lot of people, who were starting out of their kind of, they're kind of scared, like, did I pick the wrong thing?
