Are You Looking for a Competent Leader?

He found if he was more committed than other people, the people would follow him. And so his zealotry became this white hot, burning flame that people are attracted to. The frightening part about it was, many of the people who followed him didn't share his level of fanaticism. But because he was so overtly competent, confident, and willing to walk the walk, people followed him anyway. That's a lot more about us as followers than it does about him as a leader.
