The Human Divine Border in Ancient Jewish Thought
There are examples of mortals in ancient Jewish thought crossing that human divine boundary. You get this in a number of places including the angel of the Lord in the Old Testament. It's less common for a divine being to come down and have sex with a woman and create offspring. In some ways, the most interesting though thing that people would not expect normally is that within Judaism, human beings are sometimes called divine beings or made divine beings.
