How Long Does It Take to Build a Refiner?

The last time in the USA Refiner was built, they broke ground in 1974 and it was completed in 1978. If you're doing a brown field, which just means you're building it within the current fence line, adding a new piece to the process can be anywhere between 18 to 24 months depending on the complexity. But if you were to build a brand new Refiner from scratch, and you're not in Brazil, where they've, I think after 10 years, they're only halfway done with a 60,000 barrel a day facility. Typically, you're looking at four to six years, depending on complexity.
