In the control version, it was our award-winning instructor who was a tenured full professor of research active in biology. In the treatment version, he was much more on how. So less talking about ideas and more talking about how to do them, how to implement them. We were providing instruction of the procedures in place of weaving gaps for a lot of fine-grained procedural steps.
