The Evolution of Twisted Line
I hadn't seen the previous games that you guys had worked on until I looked it up for this episode. There's an interesting evolution there to creating Lonely Mountains which is such like an aesthetically like singular game but it has this really tight underlying design. We started working on the game in 2015 and then it came out in 2019 so it had like four years production cycle and it's really hard to actually say when we did sound design after that. Jan recorded with his iPhone by throwing shoes around the room that were our crash sounds for the beginning of the game. But this kind of really like fidelity was all the different grounds and the wind and yeah now we didn't have that until the middle
