The Importance of Flexibility in Back Bending

The Indian approach is that if you can't get your knees to the floor, we'll just stand on them. You know, like let's say you're in Vadakhanasana. Has anybody ever had this something? The teacher will come over and just stand on your knees until they go to the floor. But we also know that if you actually took your hands underneath the knees and you lifted them up, so you actually took the resistance with compassion. And the groins actually soften and then you go back into the pose with much more flexibility. There are ways in a back bend where you can hold your breath and walk your hands to your ankles and then finally breathe and fall
