The Importance of Epistemic Injustice
I was trying to show that the issues of power and prejudice had been explored in connection with rationality and knowledge in all sorts of ways, by all sorts of different people. So it seemed to me social epistemology had really ignored it. And so I started looking at how we can undermine someone specifically in their capacity as a Noah or an epistemic subject.
