The Importance of Predicting the Outcome

Hoorish Lowley says there is always an element of surprise with the decisions choices that we make. The idea that being able to fully know and predict the outcome of every decision would actually be quite dull. After all, who wants to live a life where you know everything that's going to happen in advance? Like it or not, chance is the necessary complement of choice.
