What Are Some of the Pressures on College Track Coaches?
Coaches are put in a place under pressure to perform, even in non revenue sports outside of football. In other sports, like we are judged and graded on our performance. The incentives don't quite aline for helping people perform academically. At some schools, athletic programs will dissuade athletes from becoming an engineer or ing pretty med because that interferes with practice schedules.
