The Importance of Listening to the Bible
I think that though points back to the things we were talking about earlier, if you're exemplary. I've often tried to encourage students to stew over text for a long period of time before they ever preach them. It feels like there's just an opportunity for letting something as raw and unfinished as the scriptures itself germinate in this way. My pastor is doing a long-term study on the Gospel of Mark. That was a teachable moment.
