Glucose is actually a fairly stable substance. And so the glucose has to be decarbolated which means that a carbon molecule needs to be knocked out of there. Now it's able to bond with your system, because it's now unstable. We can't have all fusion because we need pieces to fuse in there.So we need this oscillation back and forth to hap it.
