In episode 455 astrologer Chris Brennan does live chart readings with listeners to talk about the meaning of 1st house placements in their birth chart. This workshop was recorded a few weeks ago in preparation for the longer episode on the 1st house in astrology that was released last week, titled The First House in Astrology: Planets in the Rising Sign. The purpose of the livestream was to gain a deeper understanding about what the first house means by interviewing some people with prominent 1st house placements about their life. During the course of the livestream we discuss some examples of people with planets in the first house, those who have the ruler of the Ascendant in different houses, and also some people who had major transits through the first house. I also put out a call for examples from Twitter/X, and read a number of examples that were sent in live at different points. By the end of the episode we ended up learning a lot about what the first house means by hearing about the lived experience of people with prominent placements involving that house in their chart.
