The Meaning of the West

In the Old Testament, ancient Jews dreamed about a better world in the future. In all those passages is a secular, good society that they're asking for. Jesus takes from the Jewish prophets the idea that God himself recognizes that the Torah hasn't worked. He wants to break with morality to conflict and violence and instead try a morality of love.
